Blog 6: POSTGRADUATE COURSE

Today I will tell you about what postgraduate I want to study after finishing my degree in social work, because since I started university I have thought that I should study a postgraduate since it is important to be up-to-date in knowledge, also for the area I study to have only a degree It makes it difficult to find a job, since having more specializations would make getting a job easier.

As my social work network has the possibility of doing postgraduate courses in the faculty to the fifth year, for now my plan is to take that possibility and do a postgraduate degree in social work or intervention in childhood in the faculty of social sciences, after graduating I finish the postgraduate degree that I started in the fifth year. This would therefore be in full-time classroom mode.

I would also like to study some diplomas after that, to have more spatialization and perhaps in the future to do a doctorate in some subject of social intervention perhaps abroad, probably Spain or Brazil since social work is very advanced in those countries, too I would like to do this doctorate in person, so I would take advantage of knowing other countries, which is one of my goals in life. But well, for that, first I would like to work a few years in the front line of intervention to have work experience to choose with more foundations my future labor specializations, since I am still not clear in what field of social work I would do that doctorate abroad.

Blog 4: My life in 10 years

In ten more years, I already claim to be titled and with a stable job, I should already have my own home, perhaps with a PhD in social work or studying it. Actually I find it hard to imagine where or with whom I will be in ten more years, I feel that I am still not clear. What I do know is that I would like to live on the beach or in the country, but close enough to the city to be able to work there, so I can have my relaxation space at home. I suppose I will be living with my girlfriend and our cat, in our house in the country or on the beach With a friend we have the idea of making a brewery and I would love for that dream to come true. I am a big fan of craft beer and it would be a good business. Although what I would really like my life to be in ten years would be traveling in a motorhome all over the world and getting to know every corner of the world, with my girlfriend and our cat, that would be wonderful. Soak up other cultures, learn other languages, le...

Post 4: My indignation

What causes me the most outrage is these last weeks and years for I to be more sincere is the impunity of which we are victims especially women in this country, and in the whole world. The little importance given to our lives and dreams. I am outraged how the patriarchal system is so strong that every time we make a win to have our rights, it transforms to oppress us in increasingly sophisticated, hidden and difficult ways to denounce. There are so many cases of complaints of rapes, tortures and murders towards women, that they are even confessed by the perpetrators, and even then the latter do not end up in jail and if they do so it is with a sentence much less than the charge. The society as a whole hates women so much that they prefer to silence and be partners in crime of the thousands of murders and rapes that happen every day, that do justice for so many that are no longer there, it bothers them more than we manifest and paint and scratch walls, for example in the demonstrati...
